License it, or build it with us
License gives you patent-portfolio access (full or a defined subset), ThinTech™ platform rights, know-how and trade-secret transfer, and field-of-use flexibility on negotiated royalty terms. Co-development means designing products alongside Sentry’s R&D team, producing on our flexible-substrate platform, with roadmap input and revenue, equity, or hybrid commercialization. Both pathways unlock the full platform. For example, card manufacturers license the prelaminate core to produce biometric, metal, and OLED cards on existing hot-lamination lines.
Broad at the foundation, deep across products
Foundational patents protect the core smart-card, secure-identity, and packaging platforms — the layer everything else is built on. Derivative filings cover each device and market-specific implementation, so coverage follows the product into its application. Overlapping coverage is expensive for competitors to design around and stays flexible as markets evolve, with an active continuation pipeline that lets claims adapt to where competitor products go.
Six licensable categories
Each category is a self-contained licensing or partnering opportunity with broad international coverage — license one, or stack several. The full set: Microelectronic Encapsulation, System-in-Package, Advanced Substrates, Breakthrough Manufacturing, Biometric Smart Card, and Ultra-Wideband.
Microelectronic Encapsulation
Sealed, flexible devices as thin as 8 mil that survive heat, water, crushing, and impact — embeddable in metal, polymer, ceramic, or glass.
Biometric Smart Card
On-card fingerprint enrollment and matching for payment, access, and MFA — a batteryless drop-in for conventional hot-lamination lines.
Advanced Substrates
PET-clad copper substrates that replace FR4 and polyimide — cost-efficient, flexible SiP assembly without sacrificing durability or environmental resistance.
System-in-Package (SiP)
High-yield, scalable SiP that runs on standard manufacturing lines instead of capital-intensive overseas fabs — ultra-thin and flexible, with integrated shielding and antennas.
Breakthrough Manufacturing
Radiant Light Plate curing and core-layer assembly on existing infrastructure — high yield at low marginal cost, with no specialized overseas machinery.
Ultra-Wideband
Context-aware device architecture that tracks location and remotely activates or disables devices, payloads, and infrastructure — an early-stage frontier family.

Access a proven platform — without the R&D burn
Sentry runs a continuous innovation engine: foundational research produces patents and breakthrough technologies, engineered into market-ready products, with market intelligence fed back into the pipeline. Licensing or partnering lets you access proven patents and the ThinTech™ platform to accelerate time-to-market — without the capital and years required to build it from scratch. Our U.S.-based lab is a proven knowledge-transfer partner, with a track record of handing developed processes to large-scale manufacturers.
The R&D lab makes transfer real
Sentry routinely pilot-launches new products, proves their markets, then hands the processes to partner manufacturers for higher-volume production. The transfer is backed by CQM-certified quality management and direct, long-standing relationships with major U.S. and European chip makers — so you reach qualified silicon and OS-level integration faster.
Pilot-to-scale, built entirely in the USA. Our West Chester, PA laboratory is purpose-built to take products from pilot launch through full-scale manufacturing — then transfer the know-how to your lines.
