Where the platform fits
Wherever a credential needs on-card biometric proof of identity — payment, access, MFA, or government ID — Sentry’s encapsulated biometric SiP drops into existing card-manufacturing lines, batteryless and hot-lamination-compatible.
Markets we serve
Biometric payment cards
On-card fingerprint authorization for contactless and contact payments — no PIN, no battery, reader-harvested power.
Government ID & credentials
Tamper-evident credentials aligned with CAC/PIV as a FIDO2 derived-credential solution.
Enterprise access & MFA
One credential for physical access and passwordless multi-factor authentication across every system.
Metal smart cards
Biometrics and secure elements in a metal core — without the RF detuning that plagues conventional metal cards.
Drop-in, by design
Conventional biometric cards fail at the end of a five-step build — pop-out, attach failure, registration loss. Sentry’s encapsulated biometric SiP replaces that with four steps: encapsulated SiP, prelam, standard hot-lam, finished product. The electrical joint carries current, not mechanical load; encapsulation seals the structure. Adopt it as a mill-and-attach drop-in or a fully embedded build. Card manufacturers license the prelaminate core and run it on existing hot-lamination lines — no new equipment, no line changes.
Proven, certified, shipping
Sub-400 ms biometric match, FIDO2-certified (Authenticator, Certification Level 1, v2.0), Infineon SLC39 secure element, ISO 10373 bend and torsion, hot-lamination compatible at 130–150°C, and offline operation — full match-time, certification, and durability data reviewable under NDA.
Built for enterprise and government. Secure, tamper-evident smart cards align with CAC/PIV as a FIDO2 derived-credential solution — one credential for biometric access, MFA, and payment.
